Trips Made Here is reader-supported. If you purchase through affiliate links on our site, we may receive compensation or commission.
This is our ultimate packing list. It’s the starting point for all our trips, we simply reduce items for shorter trips, or remove items not needed for certain destinations.
Where applicable we have linked the specific gear that we personally use and recommend. Some items are regular household items (for example large zipper bags to keep a camera dry, or a dry set of clothes when crossing a river).
Notes
- Everything on this list fits into carry-on – assuming you are wearing a set of the clothes on the plane.
- For longer trips, you will need to wash clothes.
If you prefer different gear to one of our suggestions, or have found something better, please leave a comment and let us know!
